I’ll make this quick. If you find yourself in San Francisco this weekend (Sat 9/28), I strongly urge you to consider attending Being Human 2013. Some of my intellectual heroes will be speaking there: anthropologist Helen Fisher (Why We Love, Anatomy of Love); neuroscientist David Eagleman, author of two of my all-time favorite books (Incognito and Sum); and neuroscientist/primatologist Robert Sapolsky (Why Zebras Don’t Get Ulcers and A Primate’s Memoir), who is one of the best lecturers I have ever encountered in my life.
